The Challenge
A motel in Bendigo, Victoria wanted a website that looks like the property, works on a phone, and sends guests to book direct instead of through a commission-charging portal. The owner also wanted to update rooms, photos and local attractions without waiting on anyone.
Our Solution
We built the site on the same React and Strapi platform as the client's other properties, with its own logo, colours and photography. Rooms, gallery, attractions, FAQ and contact content all come from the CMS, and Book Now goes straight to the motel's reservation system. Deployed as a Docker container behind Nginx.

How it works
Bendigo Motor Inn runs on the same platform as the client's other property sites: a React and TypeScript front end, styled with Tailwind, reading its content from a shared Strapi CMS under its own site slug. Rooms, the gallery, local attractions, FAQ and contact details are all CMS entries the owner can change.
The Book Now buttons go straight to the motel's reservation system. The site is packaged as a Docker container with Nginx and deployed alongside the client's other sites, so hosting and updates are handled the same way for all of them.
The hard part
Reusing a platform across properties only works if each site still looks like its own business. The theme, logo, colours and photography are set per site, so the motel does not read as a copy of the apartment site even though the code underneath is shared.
The payoff of the shared platform shows in maintenance: a fix or a dependency update is made once and rolled out to every property, which is what makes the one-year maintenance contract for five sites practical.
